Soul Junk

Soul Junk is one of my personal favorite bands.  They're from San Diego and are have an extremely unique sound.   They combine guitar led grunge/rock songs with trip hop computerized rap style songs.  It's not very easy to describe, but if you give their most recent album, "1955," a listen you will not be disappointed.  Find out more at their website, Souljunk.com

Havalina Rail Company

If you watched the season finale of The Real World, Hawaii, you heard these guys during the very end of the show.  Their song, "Let's not forget Hawaii," was actually played twice during the episode.   Based in Orange County, these guys are an eclectic mix of rock and roll, swing, blues, jazz, and just about everything in between.  With their latest offering, "America," they only continue to broaden their musical spectrum.  Don't miss out on this extremely talented group. Check out their site!

Brendo Man All-Stars

If you are lucky enough to catch these guys in concert, you are in for a treat.  It's never the same show twice, it's never the same lineup twice.  You're guaranteed a different experience every time.  One fan described their sound as "a cleaner version of Henry Rollins, but with more passion and a lot more humor."  Another fan said, "I don't know what that was, but I liked it."  Somehow these clowns have opened up for 78 Rally, The John Wilkes Kissing Booth, Thee Spivies, Pivot Clowj, Norway, House of Wires, and other fine acts.   Brendo Man is featured on a hidden track on the Vaudeville Theater compilation from PopVox Music

BMAS rocks the house...

Jennifer Kendall

Jen is quite simply one of the best female singer/songwriters out there, in my opinion. With her angelic voice and her great acoustic skills, she is bound to go places if she would get out there more.  If you have the chance to catch her live, don't miss out.  For more info on Jen and what she's up to music wise, check out the fine folks at PopVox Music.

Jen rocking out and being pretty.
